Hagman Search is recruiting a Vice President of Sales to lead the launch and expansion of our client's newly formed brake division. This individual will be a key member of the Sales Leadership team, responsible for executing a comprehensive sales strategy focused on increasing market share and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with significant experience in the automotive aftermarket sector and a proven ability to lead high-performing sales teams. This role will involve overseeing market entry strategies, negotiating key contracts, managing relationships with stakeholders, and collaborating with senior leadership to align business development goals with the overall company vision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Sales Leadership: Develop and implement a comprehensive sales plan to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability goals for the brake division.
- Market Expansion & Business Development: Build and maintain relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners while identifying new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
- Customer & Market Insights: Conduct market research to understand trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Provide feedback to align product offerings with market demand.
- Sales Operations: Oversee pricing strategies, forecasting, budgeting, and the implementation of CRM systems and sales tools to enhance team productivity.
- Collaboration with Other Divisions: Work closely with marketing, product development, engineering, and finance teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or Marketing (MBA preferred).
- Experience: 10+ years of sales leadership experience, including at least 5 years in the automotive aftermarket or related industry.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and market analysis abilities, with proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
- Travel: Ability to travel 60-80% across the U.S. and Canada.
